The film set in Kodiyala, a village near Mandya. The beautiful and serene backdrop is superbly balanced in the film.Raja Huili, son of a landlord is a true friend who goes to any length to extend help for a friend. The film unfolds the story of Moni, a friend of Rajahuli who seeks his help to convey his love for a girl, Kaveri (Meghana Raj). The story takes a turn when the girl informs him that her heartthrob is Raja and not Moni. The romance goes to the heights and tilts when Raja is accused of another friend Cheluvaraj's murder and sentenced to prison.After serving his sentence Raja returns to find that his lady love is engaged to be married. Scenes where he overcomes the many obstacles to win Kaveri's hand once again, is portrayed brilliantly by Yash. Meghana excels in her role. Will Raja marry Kaveri?? Suspense is always thrilling. Guru Deshpande's stupendous direction and the serene locales makes it wholesome. Cinematography by K M Vishnuvardhan is brilliant.
